The partners of the ADRIA_Alliance project are proceeding with the adhesion of the pilot municipalities to the Covenant of Mayors for Energy and Climate.

They are 12 Municipalities of the Grecìa Salentina area in Apulia, 5 Molise Municipalities of the GAL Molise verso il 2000 territory, the Municipality of Malesi and Madhe and the Municipality of Tuzi, that with the adhesion to the Covenant start the implementation of the Action Plan for Sustainable Energy and Climate (SECAP). 

The Covenant foresees the reduction of CO2 emissions in the selected areas by 40% (minimum) by 2030. This is one of the first results of the ADRIA_Alliance project funded by the Interreg IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro programme.
