As part of the ADRIA_Alliance cross-border cooperation project, funded by the INTERREG IPA CBC Italy-Albania-Montenegro Programme 2014-2020, the partner Molise Verso il 2000 organized the first meeting for the establishment of the Renewable Energy Community of Fossalto (CB).
The Renewable Energy Communities are legal entities formed by private citizens, organizations and companies, which consume self-produced energy with plants powered by renewable sources and have as their main purpose to provide environmental, economic or social benefits to its members and the areas in which they operate.
The meeting, held in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Fossalto on March 24 starting at 18:00, saw the presence of representatives of the Municipality of Fossalto, experts and private citizens of the local population interested in joining the CER. The meeting was also an opportunity to present the pilot action of the project ADRIA_Alliance to be realized by GAl Molise Verso il 2000, consisting in the implementation of a Grid-connected photovoltaic system on the public building of the Primary School of the Municipality of Fossalto.
